We are going to install a patio around the pool. A wall going down the side. Adding a Fire Pit.
All dug out.
Compact the sub soil
Spread the Process on top of the Interlocking Concrete Paver Stabilization Geotextile.
The Geotextile is used to distribute the weight of the process and prevent rutting in driveways or uneven surfaces in walks & patios. Because the process can't migate into the subsoil.
This picture shows you the back of the wall.
The wall is 36" tall and we installed 2 layers of Geo-Grid. The first layer you see is layed and on top of compacted 3/4" stone. The back of the wall gets filled with stone and compacted every 6 to 8 inches as we go up. There is a drain on the bottom of the wall.
The wall and raised fire pit is in. Now its time for the pavers.
Pavers are in and layed on less than a inch of Concrete sand.
Never use Stonedust. Stonedust will not drain.
Then the next step is you spread the stabilizing sand in the joints.
